Learn to make a paper pieced star from 9-noon,  using the combined instructions from “Ultimate Paper Piecing Reference Guide” By Carolina Moore and “Show Me How To Paper Piece” By Carol Doak. 



From 1pm-4pm learn the technique of English Paper Piecing using Hexagons by hand and machine techniques

 

Supplies to Bring to Class 

  1. Fat Eighth background fabric. 

  2. Fat Eighth dark fabric. 

  3. Fat Eighth medium fabric. 

  4. Fat Eighth light fabric. 

  5. Or equivalent scraps. 

  6. Thread to match fabrics. 

  7. Scotch Tape

  8. Scissors

  9. 90/14 universal machine needle

  10. Straight pins and hand sewing needles

  11. Acrylic ruler smaller size 6”x6”

  12. Rotary Cutter

  13. Small cutting mat

  14. Sewing Machine in good working order

Parking

There is parking in the back of our building and can be entered from 1st or 2nd street alleys. Look for the deck with white french doors and the quilt square above the doorway. There is limited parking on 2nd Street.  There is no parking directly in front of the store. Thank you, we are worth the parking effort.
