Stripology 201 - Trinity in Kaffe
Intermediate Level—This class will teach you to use your Stripology ruler in new ways. The Trinity pattern uses triangles so you will also learn the importance of using Point Trimmers to easily sew your triangles together. This class also highlights the Kaffe Fassett fabrics that work perfectly with the Trinity pattern.
Techniques taught:
- Various ways to use your Stripology Ruler
- Working with fabrics cut on a bias
- Trimming triangle points
- Piecing triangles together
Requirements and Supplies needed for class:
- Sewing machine in good working order. (Bring Manual) It is important for your personal sewing machine to be in good working order.
- Trinity pattern
- Rotary cutter and a small cutting mat
- Your Stripology XL or Stripology Squared Ruler
- A 45 degree Point Trimmer Tool will be useful
- Kaffe Fat quarters or yardage per the pattern (if purchased through The Fabric Merchant receive a 15% discount on fabric and supplies only.)
- Matching thread for project
- 1/4 inch presser foot (optional)
- New size 14 needle
- Fabric Scissors and small thread trimming scissors
- Sewing accessories (pins, clips, seam ripper, pin cushion, etc.)
